The Process of Equipping and Training Your Virtual Assistant
Depending on the tasks your VA will be doing for you, we would like you to make a short “how to do video” of the tasks you’re expecting your VA to be able to do. The reason we ask you do this is because everyone has their own way of doing things. We find that this helps the VA better understand how you operate. In the long run, this will save you a lot time. Instead of having to teach your VA on the spot and answer a billion questions, you will have a mini arsinal for them to revert to. If you have videos with your voice in the background showing how to do certain tasks, even the easier tasks, it will save you from answering a lot of questions. If the VA doesn’t know how to do something, he or she will have a video specifically showing them how to do the particular tasks. This helps there be much less confusion for your and the VA as both of you are learn how to work together.
You will be connecting with your VA or VA’s through either Monday.com or Asana.com. These particular websites allow you to give tasks to your VA (if needed we will train you how to use either one these websites) and send them videos, photos, comments, questions, answers, ect. These sites also allow you to monitor how far you VA is in his or her tasks, along with you also being able to decide whether a particular task is either a high, medium, or low priority.
After all this being said, please understand that training a VA takes time, patience, and commitment. You will need to give us some of your time to get your VA on the right track. This is not a overnight process at all. At first this process might slow some things down in your business, but in the long run it’ll pay off BIG TIME, because you will find all the time you put in getting your VA set up right, will allow to have more time available to put more value in all areas your business.
We will assist you in the training of your VA in any way we can. Your VA will always report questions or concerns to one of our executives to see if their questions or concerns can easily be taken care of. We do this to help keep as little pressure off you as possible. If the question or concern cannot be answered by one of our executives we will allow the VA to ask you through Monday.com or Asana.com (depending on what your using).
